DyeMansion, a leading provider of post processing solutions for industrial plastic 3D printing, recently celebrated a significant milestone – the sale of their 1000th system to ZEISS Vision Care. This achievement not only marks a great accomplishment for the company but also highlights their dedication to revolutionizing the manufacturing industry.

The CEO and Co-Founder of DyeMansion, Felix Ewald, expressed his pride in reaching this milestone and emphasized the importance of their technology in shaping the future of manufacturing. He stated that DyeMansion is not just selling machines, but also paving the way for a new era of production and the industrialization of additive manufacturing. Ewald credited the support of the team, customers, and partners for their success and acknowledged their faith in the company’s innovations.

The 1000th system sold was the Powerfuse S, an advanced vapor smoothing system designed for industrial manufacturing. ZEISS Vision Care, a leader in the ophthalmic industry, purchased the system. They chose the Powerfuse S because it perfectly suited their needs for finishing 3D printed plastic parts. The system’s Industry 4.0 capabilities, precision, and connectivity were essential for their cleanroom environment. ZEISS Vision Care also appreciated the sustainability aspect of the system, as it uses a non-toxic and biodegradable polishing medium.

The sale of the 1000th system was made possible through DyeMansion’s sales partner Solidpro. Solidpro Director of Manufacturing Solutions, Patrick Schnitzler, congratulated DyeMansion on this impressive milestone and highlighted the importance of their partnership. He stated that DyeMansion’s finishing systems are the perfect complement for industrial 3D printing with HP Multi Jet Fusion technology.

Since its founding in 2015, DyeMansion has grown to a team of 95 employees. The company started with the introduction of the first coloring solution for SLS parts and has since expanded its portfolio to offer integrated post processing workflows for depowdering, surfacing, and coloring solutions. DyeMansion is headquartered in Planegg, near Munich, Germany, and has a presence in Austin, Texas in the US.

DyeMansion’s milestone achievement signifies their commitment to innovation and excellence in the 3D printing industry. As they continue to develop and provide cutting-edge solutions, their impact on the manufacturing landscape will undoubtedly be significant.
