January 16 – 17: Spotlight on MILAM 2024

The 8th annual Military Additive Manufacturing Summit & Technology Showcase, also known as MILAM, will be held in Tampa, Florida, from 16th to 17th January. This event is the biggest military, aerospace and defense additive manufacturing event in North America and will have over 1,000 3D printing leaders and innovators. They will discuss key issues and promising options from over 40 speakers. January 16 – 18: Origin One & SAF Advanced Training

Stratasys is providing advanced training classes both in the U.S. and EMEA. This week, two of such offerings are available at its Eden Prairie, Minnesota unit. The first course titled “Origin One Advanced Operations” runs from January 16-18, and includes options for remote engagement upon request. This course, specifically intended for Origin One 3D printing system users, costs $3,090 and aims to arm customers with the skills necessary to get the most out of their printer. The $2,060 “SAF Advanced Operations” course, intended for Stratasys H350 customers takes place on January 17-18. No remote options are available for this course. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of the SAF printing workflow, covering topics such as build preparation, printer upkeep, post-processing, and more.

January 16: TriMech’s SOLIDWORKS 2024 Launch in Charlotte

From 8:30 am until noon on Tuesday, January 16th, TriMech will be hosting a SOLIDWORKS 2024 Launch Event in Charlotte, North Carolina. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest updates in SOLIDWORKS 2024, examine live demonstrations of its core features, get their inquiries solved, as well as tour TriMech’s nearby Advanced Manufacturing Center. The event will also include giveaways, lunch, and networking opportunities.

January 16: Introducing CAMWorks 2024

On the final day of January 16th, HCLSoftware is conducting a webinar titled “Introducing CAMWorks 2024.” To get an introduction to the latest version of HCL CAMWorks, join this webinar. This potent CAM software seamlessly integrates with SOLIDWORKS and Solid Edge. The newest release, CAMWorks 2024, introduces numerous new features and improvements to reduce machining cycle time, enhance quality, and decrease programming time. Dental 3D Printing Open House: January 17 at 3D Systems

On January 17th, 3D Systems is hosting an exclusive Special Winter Event: Dental 3D Printing. To be held at their production facility in Littleton, Colorado, this free event will begin with coffee and pastries. It also includes a facility tour, time for lunch and networking, a cocktail reception, and presentations on the DMP Flex 200 metal printer, the NextDent 5100 printer, and the MJP 2500 Plus Jetting Printer, all intended for dental applications. Besides these, attendees will also get insights regarding the company’s dental additive manufacturing solutions as well as NextDent materials.

January 17: ImplementAM in Austin, Texas

Another event on Wednesday the 17th is the latest ImplementAM, Powered by SPE event in Austin, Texas, starting at 8:30 am CST at Pinthouse Brewing. Speakers from DyeMansion, HP, Additive Industries, and more will present during the day on topics from value drivers for AM and DfAM considerations for various technologies to developing and validating a product for additive manufacturing, and more. There will be a tour and workshop of DyeMansion, lunch and networking, and happy hour starting at 4:30 pm.

January 18: FFF 3D Printing with Virtual Foundry’s Filamet

On Thursday, January 18th, the Virtual Foundry is holding a webinar on the “Basics of FFF 3D Metal with Filamet™” at 12 pm EST.
