It’s been a fabulous two weeks since the groundbreaking debut of ADDITIV Polymers World, the premier event bringing together professionals from the 3D printing and polymers industries. This virtual half-day event was a collaboration between industry partners and sponsors who recognized the immense potential of uniting these two sectors. Prodways, INTAMSYS, Stratasys, and many other influential organizations were instrumental in making this event a resounding success.
With a duration of four and a half hours, ADDITIV Polymers World provided attendees with a wealth of knowledge through engaging workshops and insightful panel discussions on various topics related to polymer 3D printing. Participants had the opportunity to explore key subjects such as consumer goods, high-performance polymers versus composites, and sustainability. Additionally, workshops focused on important yet often overlooked aspects of the 3D printing value chain, including standardization in vat polymerization, optimizing engineering materials, and post-processing for plastic parts produced using additive manufacturing.
The panel discussions and workshops were undoubtedly the highlights of the event, with more than half of the attendees rating their experience a perfect five out of five stars. Networking and the chance to interact with industry leaders in the fields of polymers and 3D printing were also cited as significant benefits by many participants. Overall, satisfaction levels were exceptionally high, with over 78% expressing their interest in attending future ADDITIV events. Moreover, 80% of the attendees reported no issues with audio or visual quality, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience throughout the day.
An integral part of the event was the networking opportunities provided through dedicated theme-specific tables, catering to participants from diverse disciplines such as consumer goods, manufacturing, medical, design, automotive, and 3D printing. Attendees included professionals from various backgrounds, ranging from engineers and scientists to c-level executives and directors of additive manufacturing, R&D, and innovation.
If, unfortunately, you missed out on ADDITIV Polymers World, fret not! All the workshops and panel discussions featuring esteemed speakers from esteemed organizations like ORNL, Alpine Racing Formula 1, L’Oréal, Ford, and NIST, among others, have been recorded.
